Who talked best for the 18th Anniversary of Paris Peace Accords?

Of course, Paris Peace Accords is the foundation of Cambodia. If we don't have Paris Peace Accords we don't have stage to punch Vietnam, Thailand, Lao and other rival nations. It is about ourselves (Khmers) to sufficiently utilize this special treaty to totally free Cambodia from the aggressive attempt of Vietnam, to develop the rule of law, to bring back our Khmer pride and dignity and to proudly enjoy our national unity etc.

Let us talk best by celebrate this day to commemorate and put our effort to push this special treaty to the highest goal and achievement.

Congratulation for those who have celebrated and commemorated as well as those who are preparing to celebrate in upcoming days of the 18th Anniversary of Paris Peace Accords (23 October 1991 --23 October 2009). Your commemoration and participation absolutely signify your love of unity, peace, democracy and national sovereignty.

There are few things to grasp for "who talked best for this 18th Anniversary of Paris Peace Accords". Following will show you the different ideas and expressions about this day. Some are rational, some are foolish, some are racism, some are in balance.

For Sam Rainsy, he has firmly accepted the important day of 9 November 1953 as the first birth of Cambodia when we freed from France colony, and 23 October 1991 as the second birth of Cambodia when we can escape from both atrocity and Vietnamese invasion. However, Chheam Yeap rebutted that 7 January 1979 is the first baby and he accepted that 23 October 1991 is the second baby. He accepted that his current power absolutely comes from the creation of Paris Peace Accords. Sam Rainsy and Chheam Yeab is showing us the difference of birth and baby. Surely if we didn't get independence from France, Cambodia will not exist today. Surely if we didn't have Paris Peace Accords, Cambodia will be totally swallowed by Vietnam. But we are remained in doubt to ask Chheam Yeab about the first baby and second baby who are living together in incumbent government.

To untie this doubt, I would like to bring your attention to recent speech of PM Hun Sen. Few days before the coming of 18th Anniversary of Paris Peace Accords, Hun Sen said that Vietnamese troop were totally withdrawn from Cambodia. Once Hun Sen said 7 January is the birth of Cambodia, and now he tries to tell Cambodian people that Vietnamese troop were totally withdrawn from Cambodia. What is his mentality or behind the scene to repeat this scenario again and again? More than this, his attending at the Asian meeting in Hue Hin of Thailand , Hun Sen spoke to the public about his strong alliance with Thaksin and accused Thailand of giving stage for Sam Rainsy to criticize his government. Hun Sen is wanting to play splitting game with Thailand and push Sam Rainsy into another wrong alliance. Ok, that is very smart game that Hun Sen can play.

But what come to our mind is that, before the meeting, minister of foreign affaire Hor Namhong as well as the spokesman of ministerial council have simulteneously agreed to pick up the issue of Preah Vihea to talk with his counterpart under the provision of Paris Peace Agreement and the international laws. But how can Hun Sen chang this scenario and shy away from that original plan?

Hun Sen himself and his personal advisors decided to play that card with Thailand? Or Vietnamese special commissioners urged Hun Sen not to talk about Paris Peace Accords although with Thailand? For more information about the importance of Paris Peace Accords and the conflict of Preah Vihea, you can listen IFR.

However, you can feel relax with some foolish expressions of Paris Peace Accords. For DAP news, it is childish again and I would like to whisper Soy Sopheap that his article about this day is very immature, foolish and childish. Soy Sopheak as the chief editor concluded or assumed (ass u me) at the end that major Cambodians dislike the statement of Sam Rainsy because they are respectfully worshipping 7 January. It is hilarious to read a public news with such assumption without having proper reference. Soy Sopheap might need a course for professional journalism.

For Kiev Kannaridh, he is ever and ever been like that. I think he is drunken , he quickly stonned back to Sam Rainsy. This because of the DAP exeggerated Sam Rainsy's speech or it is real, but it is a good game to see these two seniors politicians stoned each other. Kiev Kannaridh's speech has no ground for the interests for the nation, but to rebut well to Sam Rainsy. And we can see that the speech of Kiev Kannaridh explicitly shows us the culture of "Khmer is good in fighting with Khmer, but when it turns to Vietnam and Thailand, it is vice versa".

Few fans in camdisc also talked in useless. When they claimed that Paris Peace Accords is failed, they don't have any thing to backup their argument or put into plan for future.

Of course, Paris Peace Accords is the foundation of Cambodia. If we don't have Paris Peace Accords we don't have stage to punch Vietnam, Thailand, Lao and other rival nations.
